Journalism Plan of Study

Students concentrating in journalism must complete 42 credits of required core and elective courses.

Students with a communications major must maintain:

  • 2.0 GPA in communications course
  • 2.0 GPA in all Adelphi courses

Transfer students will be evaluated and admitted into the department if they meet University and department requirements.

Any 6 credits in the Communications Department can satisfy this requirement.
